How to permanently delete your Hephaestus account and data

Account deletion is self-service, in-app, and permanent. You do not need to contact us to delete your account.

1. Delete from the app

On your device, open Hephaestus and follow these steps:

Go to Settings.
Open Account.
Enter your account password.
Tap "Delete Account".
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

2. What gets deleted

Deleting your account erases your personal data, subject to any lawful retention limits (for example, records we must keep for tax or legal compliance).

Captures, transcripts, drafts, goals, habits, relationships, documents, and other content tied to your account are removed. Raw audio and images are not permanently stored in the first place.

This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

3. If you can't access the app

If you no longer have access to the app (for example, a lost device), email mykhailo.sheludiakov@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion manually.
